Big D Reads presents a Study on Hitler in Art and Film

Dr. Thomas Adam of the University of Texas at Arlington will discuss the various depictions of the Holocaust, Hitler and Nazism in film and novels from the 1930s to the present as part of the Dallas Book Festival at Dallas Public Library.

Anne Frank at the Dallas Arboretum

Join the education staff of the Dallas Holocaust Museum and Dallas Arboretum for a hands-on, family-friendly activity exploring the theme of nature in The Diary of a Young Girl. Learn how tree rings tell the story of a tree’s life, then help plot Anne Frank’s timeline, along with your own. Discover the view outside Anne’s window while she was in hiding before depicting the view from your own window.
